Hi! I’m Des, a fantasy author who is currently obsessed with all things cozy, from cat snuggles and warm tea on a rainy day to porch-swing reading and soft, fuzzy blankets. I love cozy fantasy books and escaping into their warm and whimsical worlds.

I am currently working on a witchy cozy fantasy, with a middle-aged FMC who has struggled her entire life to find her people and to fit in, despite having a husband, two children, and a stable career, until an unexpected event leads her down a path she couldn’t have imagined.

Though I lived most of my life in the Midwest, I now call Washington my home. I live on the Olympic Peninsula with my cats. Whenever possible, I escape into the forests and mountains, hiking or pitching a tent. I fantasize about being able to communicate with the natural world and have brought the idea to life with a sentient tree as a character in my book.
