The Will of the Many

The Will of the Many by James Islington is the first book in the Hierarchy series. This epic fantasy academia is an intriguing tale of survival, political games, and one young man’s determination to live life by his own rules, even as he pretends to go along to get along. In this world, those in power have weaved a story of history that shines them in a positive light, while creating distinct power classes that feed off the will of those in lower classes. Vis must survive the Academy, solve a murder, and rise within Military’s ranks in order to fulfill his long-term plan, one that doesn’t involve ceding his Will to anyone.
